How to bypass engine brake switch.

Forums:

If you have disconnected the engine brake and still your engine won't shut off, there's an easy fix. Behind the throttle plate, above the gas tank there's a switch installed, unused. (see pic.) re-route the switch wire from the brake to that switch, or just run a wire from the coil to that switch behind the throttle bracket.

Rocco,
Awesome! Thanks for posting. I'll check the throttle plate to see if my NOS engine is similar.

Put the NOS 4hp Sensation engine on this weekend and finally put her all together! She's ready for action tomorrow! I've missed her!

Rocco, the kill switch was also on my throttle plate! Thanks for the tip!

No problem. I'll call you soon! I usually take the brake off too, weld a portion of an old shroud to the back of the shroud to cover the missing metal, bondo/sand it smooth and repaint.

Yup, I too pulled the brake off. I suppose I should have patched in and blended the cover. The time to do that was when I stripped the old paint off.
